Yes. The average person these days seems to be absolute shit at critical thinking. Most conversations involve massive amounts of hyperbole, with very few taking the time to think about the meaning of the words they (or the other side) are using, or the true scope of the problem. Words have lost their meaning. Noise volume and expression are preferred over precise language. Dialogue is a lost art for most of our citizenry.
