I generally agree, but it’s tangentially important, at least, to show that even in his delirious state, Floyd knew that he “can’t breathe” because of the drugs, and not the officers holding him down.
You have to wonder, if Floyd wasn’t just lying the whole time, and just trying to stay out of jail, had asked the cops for help, confessing to them that he ate drugs, could they have saved his life?
They could have made him throw up or something. He’d still be alive.
