Can we use my house? I have a 1/8 mile driveway and 6 acres of woods

I don’t have any advice to give lol. Actually no, move out of the city and go to a freedom state. Stay away from cities and look for rural areas with large properties but also nearby stores.

Look for affordable rural areas now. Buy property.

Look for access to some kind of medical, shopping, and your favorite outdoor activities. Fishing, woods, hunting, trails, etc.

Chasing the hot areas is a losing game. With more people working from home, rural property is going to shoot up in the next 10 years as people flee the cities and work remote.

Moving to a town of 5,000 20 years ago was miserable. Your only news was whatever came in on broadcast TV and possibly a local paper.

Your only shopping the local grocery store.

Now though, you're just as connected as some dumbshit paying $5000/mo in NYC.

You can shop online just the same, and you have the same internet they do.
