FYI nothing to get excited about here... medical examiners aren't prosecutors... I mean, when a death row inmate gets executed, they also list "Homicide" as the cause of death.
There has to be a prosecutor to take up the case and charge someone WITH A CRIME, charging the perpetrator according to the criminal code (e.g. manslaughter, 2nd degree murder, etc)
Fat chance that will happen here. AFAIK no one has even spoken with or interviewed the guy who shot her, at least not from the viewpoint of a criminal investigation. Don't think anyone from the DA's office is touching this. Those evil fuckwits probably celebrated it with punch & cookies.
