They have highschool -> MD complete pipeline programs that are literally free for "persons of color" and they've existed for nearly 20 years now.

Think of what kind of an advantage that is; it's insane.

To be fair, the physicians I've worked with who came through that pipeline (all black females) are very sharp, but it feels horrifically unfair that if you're not the right skin color, then the program says "fuck you".
