Because drugs are illegal, and a dealer is part of the chain of criminal activity. Alcohol is legal. But give a 14 year old a bottle of booze (illegal) even if your the parent, and you are responsible for that death !
So it's the illegality part that leads to the culpability? That's reasonable, but I was wondering if there's any other legal explanation besides that part.
I'm thinking of a precedent that can be used on firearms manufacturers, like the bill the Dems keep floating.
