If you want justice, follow where it leads. Heck you can even follow where the drugs were cut and made. Let's give Floyd justice follow it to the chain, arrest all the guilty.
Besides the illegality part, how is holding a drug dealer accountable for someone swallowing the entire baggie any different than holding a liquor store responsible for me drinking myself to death?

I think the person most responsible for George Floyd's death is George Floyd.
The liquor store sells you a bottle that says "beer". It is actually pure 100% alcohol, and they know it is pure alcohol, but they tell you it is "beer" and sell it to you anyway. You think you bought "beer" and down the whole thing in one go. You die. The liquor store killed you.
Deceiving someone about what you are giving them, which leads to them using it inappropriately and being harmed (in a way that was not expected of what they thought you gave them), is on you.
Now, consuming a large quantity of drugs in a hurry is irresponsible anyway, and it's quite possible Floyd knew what he was getting anyway, but if he didn't, and the dealer mislead him, then the dealer is at least partially responsible for Floyd's overdose (Floyd is responsible for ingesting strong drugs willingly, his own health, resisting arrest, etc).
ok just as an aside, i chugged some tequila one time out of a plastic cup. It was most of a bottle. I didn't die, just through up for several hours strait, and passed out with my head on the toilet, and was sick for 3 days. good times. d
