I was falsely accused of a crime at age 22, by a cop who thought he was cute,,, in a manly way. I was prosecuted, and forced on probation, no appeal, lost rights to own a weapon, and haven't been able to legally own one since 1984. But that doesn't mean I don't have one at reaching distance, if needed. My point is, only a fool would give up their weapons, or register them past the buying phase, at stores or gun stores.
