He ain’t guilty of 3rd degree murder. But he was the lead cop on the scene and a man died while in his custody. So he should be reprimanded. That said though. The amount of lies and people trying to save their own jobs was despicable. We the people invest authority into the police. And having the police use that authority in a reprehensible manner, will always have to be held to account.
I'd agree with you if floyd wasn't on enough drugs to kill a horse. There was literally nothing anyone could have done to change his fate. A team of doctors could have been there and he'd still have died.
That's like saying a cop that is controlling traffic should be responsible if someone is dui crashes and dies at that intersection.
Definitely Agreed. They couldn’t do anything much. I just think that Derek chauvin is still in charge on the scene. And needs to be belt accountable for his perp dying. We give police authority. Yes Floyd died because the the drug dealer gave him drugs he od’d on. But still. A week off of work while investigating what happens would have been fine. Not what is happening now.
