The healthiest thing you can find in a restaurant kitchen is a Covid-19 virus. Fly with your imagination, from shit to semen, from roaches to rats. Anything is in a restaurant kitchen. That's why I don't go to restaurants after my experience as a kitchen equipment technician. The least of my worries will be a Wendy's employee not wearing mask.
Yes I'm in the HVAC world. I've seen walk in coolers go down and products reach ~50+ deg F. Some irresponsible restaurants will still pop in and grab what they need to complete orders.
Ice machines are also a science experiment that many places don't keep up on. Mold city!
LOL. You reminded me when we were at a Golden Corral, working on a steamer for about two hours, we moved it to the back section of the kitchen, there was a rack with several trays of chicken breasts, they took them from the walking freezer and just left them at the hallway, we left restaurant and the chicken breasts they still were there, t the I worked on several ice machines, disgusting, people drink sodas with ice, they don't have a clue how filthy are those ice machines.
