Saying "I'm private" is as good as "no" and might create more gossip & curious cross-examination, but this is how we teach others how to value ourselves more than any illegitimate social pressures to conform to group think, while not directly criticizing them. This is a psychological war we're all in, where 75% of the people don't even know they're in a war, or what side they're really on.
