China is going to attempt to take Taiwan with or without Russia. They don't need Russia for anything. Just like Russia doesn't need China to take Ukraine.

I seriously doubt it. Taking Ukraine would be extremely difficult for Russia even if no one intervenes, which they will. Same with China taking Taiwan, which is basically impossible even with no one helping Taiwan. Them trying to do this will lead to total war, which they cannot win. Their economies are part of OUR economy. We can damage them and be fine but they cannot damage ours and survive.
