It's not specifically what the Yard House did, but Darden, Inc. the parent company that owns the Yard House did. Funny enough I can't remember what it was but it was from some news du jour I read on the_donald back in the day, it disgusted me so that I felt it necessary to boycott them forver. Someone or someones made it a point in the folowing hours or days to post the other resturants under Darden's umbrella so I added them to my list. It wasn't hard to remember Yard House, on account of it's the only Darden restaurant I like. They own Eddit V's, Longhorn Steakhouse, and Olive garden - all of which are restaurants so tacky and lame I wouldn't be caught dead there. Plus they are all staffed by illegals only smart enough to read "las instructiones en espanol" and microwave or deep fry your meal.
Aside from that particular thing that eludes me at the mo', Darden also commits the usual sins of: sourcing cheaper produce and pre-fabbed meals from out of the USA, donating to Planned Parenthood, and for some reason they felt it necessary to immediately and vehemently deny that they would ever donate to President Trump's campaign. They could have chosen the harmless middle-road approach to the woke mob that was demanding answers after "allegations" that someone at Olive Garden donated significant moneys to Trump, instead of a more polite and apolitical public statement denying allegations about campaign funding for either presidential candidate they went with mouth-frothing vitriol and just spat all over him. "Donate to Trump? US?!" ptooey! "No we would never do such an awful thing, do you think were monsters?"

Thanks, scrapping Yard House and Olive Garden from my list (never really liked Olive Garden because, as you said, tacky!)
