If you wake up at night with a nasty cramp in your leg - drink a small can of tonic water with quinine. Right as you pour the quine down your throat you will feel the cramp letting loose.

Helps with the jimmy legs (RLS) too, especially when combined with the electrolytes salt, calcium and potassium.

I never believed in RLS until i was up all night once with an unrelenting sensation in my leg that wouldn’t let me sleep and the only thing that made it feel somewhat better was if i kept my leg moving. Once i stopped moving the sensation came back. It was the most annoying thing ever. Thankfully it only happened twice and hasn’t happened again. Knock on wood

I know it's low on the health issues totem pole, but that's where its special bit of evil lies: it only hits me riiiight as I'm drifting off. Luckily, it rarely happens these days since going low carb and/or supplementing electrolytes.
