In some reality where Trump becomes acting President again, what would he do differently this time? I mean, he obviously would have to do some things differently, and deal with a lot of things much more harshly.

I love Trump, but I do sometimes find myself thinking "what would he do to be HARDER on our invasion problem?" or "What would he do to be HARDER on rich big name scum who deserve to be in prison or dead?"

You get the idea.

Hiring a competent chief of staff. Trump never had one. He needed someone he could trust but who also a DC insider. The federal government is the largest employer in the country, and with absurd civil service protections, you can’t run it without some inside expertise.

So the deep state remained entrenched, leaks happened (some true and many fabricated). Policy wise, I can’t think of another president in modern times I agreed with more. But the execution wasn’t great at times, and I think that was fundamentally a personnel issue.
