It's licensed, he didn't even sell it to you, and you have to agree to new invasive terms and conditions every time.

Dump Microsoft right now and download Mint Linux 20.1, you can burn it to a thumb drive and install in probably an hour or two. I couldn't believe how fast it set up on my new laptop, I never knew it could be this easy. I'm on Firefox Linux right now and it's not any different from what I'm used to.

Thanks but not practical for many of us. MacOS would be our only other real option. In many, many cases Windows is THE BEST tool for the job and that is all it is, a tool.
