With the fake tribute to the National Anthem that tricks the public into believing that they are supporting America by sitting their ASS in the seat for 3 Hours.
This past year has completely changed my perspective of sports in society.
Sport is important for children to learn life lessons, help build a strong work ethic, and help build a healthy sense of competition with their peers. It is likewise important for adults as a recreational activity to help stay physically fit.
But holy hell, have we have really gone overboard on the professional sports today. How many billions of otherwise productive manhours (and tax dollars) have been utterly wasted on the pro sports in the past 20 years??
It's all become such a waste of time and money. And for what? For me to pay $150 to go to an NFL game to be told I'm a racist? Fuck that shit.
Sports died when thugs were paid to be thugs while playing sports part time at massive wages. When these thugs were called heroes for winning ONE game, I stopped watching.
