Went to my doctor for my annual physical. First off, i'm a very healthy FUCKING WHITE MALE and really the only time I see my doctor is for this physical and I've been going to him for over 25 years. The last time I saw him for something of concern was in 2014. Now, being that this is America and our healthcare system sucks so bad, he's changed his practice and I can't see him unless I pony up $2500/year for more individualized care. But I can see his secondary doctor who sees cheap asses like myself. Ok, no problem since a physical is a physical. So I said what the heck and kept my appointment.

And of course out came the COVID vaccine pushing. This is pretty much the actual conversation:

Doctor - Have gotten or registered for the vaccine yet?

Me - No. I had Covid in January and I have the antibodies, so I'm good.

Doctor - Well, having Covid only gives you immunity for about 3 months.

Me (finally going to put someone on the spot) - This is a great time to ask this question since I'm sitting in a doctor's office: How is the vaccine better or any different than getting it naturally?

Doctor - it promotes a greater immune response.

Me - interesting. Are the antibodies different somehow?

Doctor - not really.

Me - Do I have the same antibodies as someone who is vaxxed?

Doctor - essentially yes.

Me - So...I don't understand how the vax is better if I have essentially the same biological response.

Doctor - Studies are showing that the effect lasts longer

Me - How much longer?

Doctor - We're not sure

Me - So, I can get vaxxed but still catch it later?

Doctor - perhaps.

Me - So, it's essentially the flu? Which I can't say I've ever really had a bad case of.

Doctor - well, not really

Me - Look, I'm not a doctor, but what I'm hearing and reading every day isn't selling me on this. And anytime the government says not to be concerned, that's when I get concerned regardless of who is in office. I'm good without getting the shots since I'm a very healthy man and my covid experience was minimal. I have no concerns with catching it again.

Doctor - Well, you're not in a high risk group so you're probably OK with catching it again. But you may be able to pass it to other high risk people, and the public at large needs to get vaccinated so we can reach herd immunity faster

Me - eh, the high risk people in my family are all gleefully getting vaccinated, so they'll be safe from me. I need some more convincing data out there about efficacy and more importantly, long term effects before I'll even consider it. I'm super healthy, I rarely get sick and I'm not going risk that just because the government says "be a good citizen".

And then we moved on to other things. But in hindsight, I should have just lied and said i got it and made up some fucking dates for him to write in my file.

Yeah that "be a good citizen" shit is not selling me on the jab either. Like you, I'm not at risk!

So, good for you and for all people who speak their mind calmly and reasonably to the so-called authorities. Don't be sheeple, people!

Doctor was a fucking scumbag just like the rest of the commie media pushing this "vaccine".

THERE ARE NO FUCKING STUDIES ABOUT IT LASTING LONGER because it's only just been distributed and there's still barely any confirmed cases of 2nd covid infections, suggesting that the immunity lasts at least 15 months.

These people are sick and deranged.

The most up to date study on 2nd infections of covid currently started around 7 months ago and they're all saying that it's at least 7 months, because their participants STILL haven't had another infection.

You should asked him how much he is being paid to peddle this bullshit

"The immune systems of more than 95% of people who recovered from COVID-19 had durable memories of the virus up to eight months after infection. - NIH Jan 2012.

If you beat covid once - without the vaccine - you stand a better chance of beating it again even if your 'immune system' has some how 'forgotten' the virus.

Immune systems DO NOT forget easily - the only problem is if the virus alters so much that it becomes a stranger to your immune system. and that can take a while

so, if the immune system response wanes after a few months, why do all other things you get vaccines for last years or decades? Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Polio...why do those last essentially forever but something like the Flu needs an annual shot (don't say muh variants, that's bullshit too)

The short answer is there are DNA viruses and RNA viruses - based on how they replicate. Replication processes alter the Virus, some are altered allot, some don't change much at all.

Viruses replicate very very quickly... it is not like mating. The process is different between RNA and DNA viruses... DNA viruses have a lower genetic error rate - and reproduces somewhat slower. RNA viruses have a worse replication system - and create more errors.

Indeed - they are not really sure how long the vaccine for polio actually works. All standard vaccines we have are for DNA viruses.... covid is the first RNA vaccine ever used on mass populations.

And it is why 'they say' you need a new flu shot every year - as different viruses have altered their genetic composition so much that they began spreading again in human populations.... your old vaccine does not work on the new virus strain.

They are actually tracking covid changes, genetically, - across the world.

https://nextstrain.org/ncov/global?c=country_exposure&m=div&tl=country_exposure

In one year, the virus has changed considerably - and this is not unique for viruses.

Those viruses and diseases mutate a lot slower and have very specific signatures for your body would be my guess.

Legit, this shit is kind of stupid. I ain’t a doctor, but I damn well know how to figure out if something makes sense or not.

Beginning to lean towards telling people I got both shots just to shut them the fuck up about it.

I've been joyfully telling everyone I've gotten both shots of pfizer, and moderna, have the j&j shot and can't wait to collect more!

"When do you think they're going to release the next one!?"

No one thinks I'm being serious but they can't bring themselves to take the conversation further.

See, this is a great strategy. It seems like friends, acquaintances, and people I've never met are always finding a way to worm their opinions on the vaccine into everyday conversations. Instead of being a contrarian, I want to join them in their happiness. It also puts a smile on my face to learn who is and isn't an NPC. Planning on adpoting your method just for the comedy it will illicit.

This is called "agree and amplify" to the point of absurdity. I told someone yesterday that I haven't gotten the jab yet because I am an anti-vaxxer (they know I'm a scientist) and I don't believe the measles exists anymore. Conversation didn't go further than that.

  1. Can you still get the Chinese virus if you take the expiremental gene therapy?
  2. Has anyone died after taking the expiremental gene therapy?
  3. Can you die from the Chinese virus after taking the expiremental gene therapy?
  4. Do you still have to wear a mask after taking the expiremental gene therapy?
  5. Will you be held responsible if anything bad happens after taking the expiremental gene therapy?
  6. Where did influenza go?
  7. Why would an expiremental gene therapy be superior to already proven effective medicine?
  8. What is your treatment for Chinese virus patients?
  9. How many patients have you had with the Chinese virus that died?

My advice... don't lie to make life easier. Stand your ground on truth, logic, facts, and reason. Which is what you did.

_Sully_ 3 points ago +3 / -0

It promotes a greater immune response is bullshit. It creates a massive cascade of non-neutralizing antibodies. It’s not the more the merrier on this one. There’s a reason your body doesn’t do that.

who goes for an annual physical anymore?

Asymptomatic spread is complete bullshit. If you're not producing mucus, where the virus hides when it spreads, you can't just give it to other people simply by breathing

"who goes for an annual physical anymore?"

I guess I do. LOL I'm healthy and if going once a year helps keep it that way, that's fine by me. And plus, thanks to Obummer care, my skyrocketing premiums allow me not to have a copay for this visit (/s)

Fraudci just came out and said the "vaccine" is likely only effective for 6 months. That's not a vaccine. That's the equivalent of a flu shot. I never get flu shots either. My husband and I and our kids just got over covid. Our kids were over it in under 5 days. It lingered a bit for me and my husband but we are healthy adults in our 40s and I'd rather let my immune system work than take something experimental.

Doctor - We're not sure

This is the only truth
