We have been prepping since Obama took office. Obviously u can't plan for everything. Did anyone expect this shit? What i mean by that is, did anyone ever think that our world would go into lockdown, be forced to wear masks, vaccine shoved down our throats, and be treated like an evil person and cancelled just because we don't believe their narrative?

Depends on your budget, if you can drop big $$ there are companies that will set you up for life.
If you are like the rest of us:
Anything canned (on sale if possible), beans, veggies.
Pasta, honey, peanut butter
Proteins; canned chicken, spam (price has really gone up), canned beef, etc..
Include multi vitamins to supplement
Water (bottles, jugs, whatever), also a good water filter with a few spare cartridge's, even the cheap brita's are better than nothing
Never too late to start.
This is a great start. Canned goods last for a very long time. Most can make it a decade or more. There are a couple exceptions... tomato based stuff should be stored carefully. It is very acidic. It has the highest likelihood of can damage/spoilage. Another is citrus or pineapple. Both are to be stored very cool and for shorter term. Be very careful to rotate regularly. Always use your oldest stuff first.
Buy things you actually like. You’re more likely to use them/rotate them properly.
Long term food storage (10-30yr) is a much longer topic. Basic advice is to buy beans and rice in prepackaged long term containers unless you feel very comfortable doing it yourself (which is about 1/4 to 1/3 the price). The process isn’t difficult but failure means a loss of resources.
Wheat can also be stored for a long time... it’s a lot more labor intensive to turn it into food but it has its place.
Anyone reading this is welcome to message me. I am always open to questions.
Also, anyone interested, message me a shipping address and I’ll send you a copy of my book for free. It’s a basic start on prepping and organization of preps.
