I was in the Guard during Katrina. Served 6 months over there. Was not aware they were taking guns and was not ordered to take any. Whatever the reasoning it was dumb. I would have not taken guns from residents. I did get a coin from General Honore. Boy did he turn out to be a big POS.
This is how they do it, once they decide to proceed. 20-30 heavily armed soldiers, targeting one person/home at the time. In the event of a shootout the homeowner dies, and maybe a few soldiers die too, but they just send in more and continue.
You need alternative communication channels they cannot censor, FB, Twatter and others will shadow ban any warnings from the early homes they visit.
Also be prepared for catastrophes, hurricanes, earthquakes, flooding, fires, etc etc. Because they'll use something like that to keep everyone distracted. It's exactly what happened in the previous events. While everyone was busy saving or caring for their families and neighbors gun confiscations happened in the background.
Anyone reading this should be prepared enough to be unaffected, also have enough supplies to help thy neighbors. All to ensure that when the army comes to take your guns, they must be outnumbered by people in focus, ready to defend their rights.
Every time I hear bullshit about "Boston Strong" I remind people that Boston's actual definition of "strong" was being told to hide in fear in their own homes in the fetal position while ONE INJURED TEENAGER ran around their city. It's actually the opposite of strong and I'm still claiming it was a dry run for the shit they've pulled over the last year. "If we can force a whole city to shut down in fear of a teenager, we'll have no problem doing it on a nationwide level."
