Very good insight. I'm sure this is true. He wanted this so badly but he got it at the cost of being the most empty figurehead president this country has ever had. Unfortunately the things we desire most as humans often reveal themselves to be quite different if achieved. Another reminder to appreciate what we have and not to get lost in an overpowering desire for personal aggrandizement. Doing so almost always refuses to bring the happiness or sense of completeness that was hoped for, and it often brings worse than that.
