The CCP fears Falun Gong, not because of what it is, but for the same reason they fear the rainbow body of the Shaolin, they know what this could be potentially capable of or must understand that it could lead to their destruction to have a single deity of any kind establishing it's presence here on earth again, they might fear magic and witchcraft so extremely from the stories of Kali Yuga and their location, and the prophecies related to their collapse being witnessed happening to them live, they studied everything religion related to find things they didn't like, extensively, and in this I believe they found something they fear immensely, and I think therefore the Chinese might fear especially the thought of someone like Rasputin or another Merlin wondering around like the last wizards who were known to be able to cause quite significant levels of damage at will or wield exponential powers.
