If I come into your home and you ask me to take off my shoes and I don't, I'm a dickhead. If I come into your business and you ask me to wear a mask and I don't.... same thing.

The federal government should stay the hell out of it, but if my local bagel store owner wants me to mask up in his establishment I should do so or not patronize it.

The difference is there’s actually a good reason for taking your shoes off. A better analogy would be asking someone to bow before a portrait of nancy pelosi before entering your home in which case the answer is still go fuck yourself
