This is obscene. The vaccines manufacturers are the direct party to any problems with the vaccine. Whereas charging a gun manufacturer for a crime committed by a third party at any point in the indefinite future well after the fact means those manufacturers are liable for a product that they have no control over once it's sold. No other industry is held liable in this way, otherwise carmakers would be liable every time a drunk driver got behind the wheel.
