Edit-- the CDC quote is referring to the vax. The Genome Institute quote is referring to mRNA in general.
What it does is change your cells so that they now constantly reproduce the virus in you, the theory is that means your body will always be "prepared' to deal with the virus.
Actually this is what your immune systems does when it produces antibodies, but so what, they are on a roll.
So your body keeps producing these proteins which travel to your brain. The question is what exactly are these proteins, why they are the same proteins that cause mad cow disease and they will kill you.
