I cant believe I’m living in the same country I was born and raised in where currently such nonsense exists. I think I will move to a country where I would have more freedoms, like North Korea or China. I expect to hear goose-stepping down my street any day now

That’s illegal. He can sue. Federal law prohibits employers from requiring experimental treatments.

Came here to say this. OP's son-in-law needs to lawyer up.

8
MegoThor 8 points ago +8 / -0

What difference does the law make?

6
Independenceforever 6 points ago +6 / -0

It's all illegal bro

"national emergency" or not

there's no country. we gotta start over.

5
NavySTG 5 points ago +5 / -0

Our clients are requiring it to enter their facilities, not our company. So, sales people that can't sell will be let go, and our company will be off the hook. If any of us engineers have to go onsite, we'll be required....by the client. Failure to do your duties means you have no choice but to leave.

3
CS_McFisticuffs_III 3 points ago +3 / -0

You can probably still sue. It's still ultimately your company that is requiring you to get it. You could even threaten to sue the client as well. Your employer might think twice about drawing a customer into a legal battle.

HIPPA. They can't even ask. Why people can't figure that one out... I just don't know.

I just sent my daughter a post from the Patriots which was about a 21 year old who got the covid vaccine and had to go to the hospital with extreme reactions, all because he had already had covid.

I’d like to find that link if you have it handy, please post.

You’re welcome. Sorry I didn’t understand your first request.

7
KYMAGApatriot1 [S] 7 points ago +7 / -0

There is no link. This is basically what he was told after a management meeting two days ago.

8
Gadsden 8 points ago +8 / -0

He means a link to the 21 year old with a bad reaction.

7
KYMAGApatriot1 [S] 7 points ago +7 / -0

Oh. My bad. Let me find it.

16
Gnometard 16 points ago +16 / -0

HIPPA doesn't prevent you from sharing your information, it prevents other people from sharing your information.

They're not taking it from you, they're asking for you to provide it.

2
Bigsweaties 2 points ago +2 / -0

Thanks for clarifying my misunderstanding.

2
Gnometard 2 points ago +2 / -0

It's a common one. My mom works in a pharmacy and I hear about it all the time.

The issue will be us being coerced into "willingly" providing the information.

"If you don't want to provide it, just go shop/ work elsewhere "

But there is no elsewhere.

LowKeyPede 1 point ago +1 / -0

It is HIPAA and it protects doctors, not patients

1
MiyamotoHolliday 1 point ago +1 / -0

What? No. I work for a payer. It protects patient data. We get fined if we leak PII

1
LowKeyPede 1 point ago +1 / -0

Hear me out:.Who does the fine go to, the govt or the victim? The govt if I'm not mistaken. HIPAA theoretically protects PHI/PII but when you sign the HIPAA form, that is a RELEASE saying the provider can give your into to potentially 2.2 million entities, including business affiliates. The release that everyone signs protects the provider. Presumably this list of entities can grow with the strike of a regulator's pen--they may have already expanded it with COVID rules.if someone sues they need to prove harm--if it is an egregious violation, maybe there's a case, but otherwise proving harm is difficult. Our medical privacy would be safer if we did not sign the releases, but it simplifies insurance claims/payments so nobody questions it. Most of the time, patients are signing a black box to digitize their signatures and have no idea what they are agreeing to. httpss://www.cchfreedom.org/issue.php/37

1
MiyamotoHolliday 1 point ago +1 / -0

The fine goes to the payer so how does it protect the payer. Do speeding tickets protect the driver or the insurance company?

let them fire and GET IT IN WRITING! even better paying lawsuit in his future

It's pretty scary how little discussion went on regarding the ethics of any of this. It's all about what they can or can't do, not whether they should do it.

If you're referring to what I think you are, that was a bit ominous. I think we could pick a lot of individual events as landmarks, but the truth is probably that morality suffered a long slow degradation.

35
RandomDude76 35 points ago +35 / -0

I work in healthcare and they haven’t mandated our staff yet because most of them would probably quit.

23
J_Gault_2021 23 points ago +23 / -0

I work in big pharma. Lots of us will quit before taking the vaccine.

34
SavingPrivateGrace 34 points ago +34 / -0

You couldn't pay me enough to take a Covid vaccine. Don't care how much he makes, it isn't worth your life.

14
Moonman_Alpha 14 points ago +14 / -0

The "vaccine" is Russian Roulette.

7
MegoThor 7 points ago +7 / -0

With a fully loaded gun.

27

Tell him to lawyer up asap. The threat alone is grounds enough for a solid case. The initial expense will be offset by the monumental gains.

Drain the beast of every damn last drop.

Nope. They have full government support.

Edit: "REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" - Downvoters

8
Dalaketh 8 points ago +8 / -0

Where does it state that they have the full support of the government on page 56? Are you referring to what Dr. Hunter said in the open discussion?

8
cjcivicx 8 points ago +8 / -0

People are free to try and sue. They'll use "public safety" as a defense and they'll have done nothing but send a lawyer's kids to an Ivy League school or bought him a new Porsche.

America's issues won't be solved in court. We're already past the breaking point and people have yet to lay siege to any government buildings like the left has for the past year because they are afraid they'll be crushed while ANTIFA is free to do what they want, which is true, but that's why we've lost already.

Hell, the SCOTUS proved that even they won't uphold the law if it means hurting someone's feefees...

Edit: The truth is we've lost and America is about to become the Soviet Union Part 2 : Gulag Boogaloo because we conservatives myself included turned the other cheek for too long and thought we were fighting against someone with honor and integrity like we had.

T_BigD1745 4 points ago +5 / -1

Its not too late but frankly real revolution would be too unpopular to gain serious traction. Small teams of patriots using geurilla tactics could be effective at disrupting parts of the country, but then people just get pissed at the cause and hate people involved with it. Genuinely there arent enough people that care to the point of supporting violence, as long as they have their phone or tv and a couch to sit on.

That won't stop them from replacing him with a foreigner in the near future though. The work visa programs are only just ramping back up after Trump help shut it down a little.

Get a lawyer and other employees to sign on. They will backoff.

Edit: Downvote it all you want. If you think the Biden administration won't kill any judge that would let people go ahead and sue, you're more gone that Qtards!

8
Based_in_Seattle 8 points ago +8 / -0

How do you get that? It read that an EUA cannot be used to make vaccination mandatory.

4
TakenusernameA 4 points ago +4 / -0

Then sue the government. Though its hard to get money from someone who has none.

1
The_Real_Tony_Rigoni 1 point ago +1 / -0

The company I work for is also flirting with the idea of requiring all of its employees to get, and prove, they have gotten the covid vaccine. You are not wrong the EEOC does say the employers can require it.

1
cjcivicx 1 point ago +1 / -0

It's definitely bullshit. I'm glad I'm retired so I don't have to deal with this bullshit.

Nuremberg Code.

5
War_Hamster 5 points ago +5 / -0

Does this supersede US law?

8
MiyamotoHolliday 8 points ago +8 / -0

it established coercive medical treatments as a crime against humanity

3
War_Hamster 3 points ago +3 / -0

Thank you. I was aware of that.

Let me rephrase the question;

Can someone be tried in a US court for this?

Thanks.

I expected that was the answer but was unaware if this had every been tested.

Have bookmarked the link to your recommended book, but I've got a bit of a backup in reading materials so no promises on when the book report will be ready.

I saw a picture of a document someone prepared for their employer, making them agree to pay for any and all medical care needed for any side effects whatsoever from the vaccine they are mandating for their employee. Including death benefits in the millions to their spouse and lifetime financial maintenance if they're disabled in a meaningful way. Present that to his employer and they will back right down.

I came across I CAN (Informed Consent Action Network), which looks like they provide help with situations like this. I’ve never been an “anti-vaxxer” so this is new territory for me, but seems from the research I’ve done, that not even a private employer can mandate a vaccine that’s been granted an EUA.

3
LowKeyPede 3 points ago +3 / -0

ICAN is great. The Highwire had a great show yesterday.

3
WakeUpAmerica 3 points ago +3 / -0

Thanks for sharing the info about I CAN.

You know "anti-vaxxer" is a derogatory term.

A person can get fully informed about vaccines and decide NOT to consent to having vaccines.

I am for vaccine choice.

4
45squared 4 points ago +4 / -0

You bet!

I know it’s derogatory, that’s why I used quotations. But I used to think those people were crazy, my how the tables have turned...I work in healthcare, this is my 1st vaccine I’ve “refused” (which is also derogatory bc It’s my choice, so I can decline if I choose).

2
LowKeyPede 2 points ago +2 / -0

Most of the "anti-vaxers" were pro vaxers at one time. They just had open minds.

8
CovefefeREEEE 8 points ago +8 / -0

Time to lawyer up. Make them fire him. Then sue.

8
WakeUpAmerica 8 points ago +8 / -0

If he doesn't want to take the jab, something to consider:

"Employee Vaccine Exemptions. Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 states that employers are prohibited from discriminating against employees on the basis of race, color, religion, sex and national origin and must provide reasonable accommodations for employees with deeply held religious beliefs. Title VII continues to apply during public health emergencies including the current COVD-19 crisis."

"Religious beliefs" are defined very broadly.

Perhaps that fits your son-in-law's situation?

Article

For the most part companies are concerned with their liability. If they don't enforce the COVID-19 "safety protocol" someone could sue them.

If they insist you get the "vaccine", could you turn that around on them? Since:

  • it is an experiment and not all side effects are know;
  • it is against the Nuremberg Code to be forced to participate in an experiment;
  • the manufacturing companies are exempted from ANY legal liability;
  • your employer is requiring you to take it in order to keep your job

Will they agree (in writing) to be held liable if you have bad side effects?

3
LowKeyPede 3 points ago +3 / -0

Agree, but exemptions aren't the way to go, ideally. We don't need to be exempt from policies that are illegal. Contact ICAN

2
WakeUpAmerica 2 points ago +2 / -0

So true. Where we live children are forced to be vaccinated in order to go to public school.

Medical exemption is the only one left. It is nearly impossible to get, and the government is working hard to take remove that one as well.

I will check out ICAN.

1
LowKeyPede 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yes I saw controlled opposition "activists" actively pit those with medical exemptions against those with religious/philosophical exemptions. Sadly, many with medical exemptions feel they are the only ones entitled to exemptions....but look where that has gotten them. You need to damn near die on the table to get a medical exemption. Most docs are not willing to stick their necks out on this issue. I give very little money to any nonprofits, but I gave ICAN money--they are informative and action oriented. https://www.icandecide.org/. and https://thehighwire.com/watch/. Same organization

2
KYMAGApatriot1 [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

True. If they think they can be sued they won’t make him get it. But I know they will find some other reason to lay him off, etc.

6
AllTheWayTrump 6 points ago +6 / -0

Guess he needs to decide between money and principles.

6
arminius009- 6 points ago +6 / -0

Well duh...computers get viruses too...wouldnt want cross platform contamination...stop the spread!!! Science wins.....lmfaorofl..so stoopid Honk Honk

5
HellsFishe 5 points ago +5 / -0

Tell them since he can't hold the vaccine companies accountable for any side effects, would they be footing the bill if he had any adverse reactions? Or pose the same question to his doctor and get a doctor's note making him exempt.

1
KYMAGApatriot1 [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

Thanks for the reply. I’m going to send these suggestions to him.

5
traveler776 5 points ago +6 / -1

I'm worried my employer will try the same, the tech industry is cancer. If it's a big corporation please consider sharing the company name so we can go to war with them, if it's not then it makes sense to keep it private

3
KYMAGApatriot1 [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

It’s definitely not a large corporation or I would post it

4
traveler776 4 points ago +5 / -1

Interesting yea my employer isn't either, I feel like some of the smaller companies are being even crazier maybe with this stuff than the big corporations

5
J_Gault_2021 5 points ago +5 / -0

Sue. It's one of the only ways this will stop.

Also, tell him to claim that his religion is against taking vaccines that were derived from fetal stem cells. This is another legal way to sue their pants off.

5
Zhongda 5 points ago +5 / -0

Hope you didn't want more grandkids, or grandkids in general.

6
KYMAGApatriot1 [S] 6 points ago +6 / -0

They have two children but hadn’t ruled out more.

4
NotAPuma 4 points ago +4 / -0

If he HAS to. Don't get J&J, it sounds like it's side effects are a lot worse. I'd suggest Moderna, it's side effects has been mild (although we don't know what happens in a year after taking ANY of these vaccines)

3
Gravity 3 points ago +3 / -0

Legal action will take years. My brother works in vegas and they are mandating vax or testing weekly, or termination. If you can afford to get fired, then mount an expensive and long legal defense, you might have a chance. Ordinary people cannot afford a long legal batter and years of unemployment.

2
Himee 2 points ago +2 / -0

If these companies are going to act like tyrants and destroy workers then leak some information that will cause the company to go bankrupt.

2
Jack_NC 2 points ago +2 / -0

if he's working in IT, he can find another job. Tell the employer to FUCK OFF and walk out, quit on the spot - no notice at all, full prejudice.

2
LowKeyPede 2 points ago +2 / -0

It will be the smart ones leaving. Employers will lose their best people over this.

2
Goatboy66 2 points ago +2 / -0
