I’ll bet they’re recycling the same reasoning that they used to ban The Beach Boys from playing July 4th in DC back in 1983: “it would attract the wrong element.”

I agree, and that was a weird time with the Moral Majority and the Music Lyrics hearing with Tipper Gore (of all people) leading the charge...
