I remember a few years ago someone looked into the statistics of school shootings and they found a large number of people who’d just drive to the middle of a school parking lot in the middle of the night and off themselves. Akin to covid death counts, the authorities chalk it up to a school shooting because “Derrr sumonez dun shot demselfses in da skol perking lut!”
This reminds me of when 'drive-bys' were just starting to be called that, in the 80s or 90s, whenever.
Our local news channel said "Driveby today at X clinic. Suspect drove up to a building, parked, went in, and shot his wife. Then, he went back outside and drove off."
Let's make a distinction between (illegal/stolen or belongs to a felon) and law abiding gun owners protected by the constitution. Which BTW...SHALL NOT BE INFRIGED!!!
