What would you like remembering as you got older? A dad who played with you in the yard while the world burned slowly or a dad who fought and died in the civil war for freedom and liberty over oppression and the ministry of truth?
Dont be so melodramatic. He needs a dad to be around to raise him. I'm in my 40s; most countries would only send me to war in extreme circumstances for the same logic I'm laying out to you.

Some of us have children and/or senior parents that depend on us. As much as I'd love to get involved sometimes, I owe it to them to stay safe.
