They've been given trillions and trillions of dollars yet they seem incapable of doing anything other than murdering Americans and trying to destroy the rule of law. I don't feel that this is a very good use of tax payer money.

They provoke them, silly.
Haha, for sure. We could probably hire a biker gang to commit crimes and then "solve" them for a hell of a lot less money.
"Richard Jewell" I believe is the title of a good movie, about a guy the fbi tried to pin a bombing on after he alerted authorities of a suspicious package. He saved lives, and the fbi destroyed him and his mother's lives.
Stopping legit attacks requires actual work, whereas setting up a patsy for a false flag attack is easy.
Same for the TSA.
That time they knelt for BLM probably prevented a terror attack. But then again, they could have just arrested the black supremacist commie terrorists.
Like the CIA the FBI isn't supposed to publish their real successes so who knows. During the war on terror we were stopping at least one 9/11 sized attacks a year. And several a month. Not sting operations but real terror attacks.
The point of the set ups is not to stop terror attacks directly, but to make it clear to all the other shitbirds that anyone they talk to about terrorism could be a government agent. It was psychological warfare done so they would never be able to trust each other.
