I am just more on the side of less government the better. The contract is between the two individuals. Personal liberty and individual responsibility. Lion on the prairie rather the cage.
Eh... history has shown that doesn't work when it comes to the environment. I mean, we had rivers on fire because corporations didn't give two shits about what they were dumping into it. Same thing happened with what caused the building codes to be made, as builders would build structures that would fail long after the builder split due to shoddy workmanship.
There needs to be a better balance as some things need to have the regulatory oversight (like anything to do with air and space for example), while other things makes you wonder why it's there in the first place (EPA I'm looking at your gross overreach).
