The gun thing is literally just a distraction

Guns were their "[break glass in case of emergency]" move

I assumed they were going to save this for awhile, but between Hunter's crack stories and laptop, the border, the Alzheimer's, the kids, HR 1, etc... they had to bring it out a lot sooner than expected\

Don't get me wrong, it's still concerning and we need to fight it, but we have countless millions of AR-15 owners now, and a SCOTUS that -- despite all of it's flaws -- will almost certainly rule in favor of 2A.

I don't trust SCROTUS for one second

Depends if there's follow through or just suggestions. Suggestions are a distraction, follow through is the endgame. I think they have to 25 him sooner than they expected and are forcing things early.
