I have a condition that flares up every now and then that took years to diagnose. I say that because since it took so long to diagnose it, II know its symptoms, and more importantly, the unconventional medication that fixes it. The medication is not a narcotic, in fact, it would be over the counter in other countries.
So when I went to the doctor, they're checking me in and I tell the nurse that I need this specific prescription. She says to tell the doctor. The doctor walks into the room, tells me the medicine won't work and that she's prescribing one that I know won't work. I tell her, I understand, but I've had this condition all of my life and I know what works. She again proceeds to tell me that the medicine won't work.
Understand, this condition causes some pain. I already know that her solution will not work and that means this office visit would cost me for nothing.
Not only is she condescendingly telling me I'm wrong about my medical history....
This bitch is wearing one of those plastic face shields.
It was loud. I'm writing my complaints to the state board now.
