I really want to believe he is innocent...yes, the press is all fake news....but I still hope everything is on the up and up.

Read the story. Look at what is evidence and what is unjustified claims. Is what is presented as evidence illegal? No. Why is there no evidence presented for the unjustified claims that sound illegal? All evidence regarding this incidence is currently being leaked to drum up the cancel culture crew. If the evidence is being leaked and none of it sounds particularly illegal. Then the obvious conclusion is that this is just another nothing burger.
