I'm more and more convinced we're witnessing collapse. It never happens overnight. It's always a long, drawn out process. And it seems like we're smack dab in the middle of it, because we don't have the will or courage to do what must be done to stop it.

As long as there’s food and an illusion that the fighters are crazy, no one will step outside their comfort zone. Until it’s too late.

People are too afraid of embarrassment to even state their views, and can't even commit to not drinking Coco Cola.

They talk a big game, but they're weak. They don't even truly believe the state that things are in. They doubt themselves to the point of not even speaking it out loud in person, let alone taking action. I realized post election steal that a great many people on the right are planning to lose. Deep down they believe they're wrong, and that they should lose. And they don't really believe a lot of what they say. They kind of do, but they are paralyzed with doubt. And too afraid of looking "stupid" or "crazy" to stand up for what they believe in. Too many people doubt their own perception of reality.

The citizen will carry on as long as he has the illusion of free will.
