This I why I don't like most "Christian" churches or organizations. They are weak and compromised by the world. Phony "Christians" harm the religion, and, as far as I'm concerned, should be shunned.
I haven't been to church in a long time because I became disillusioned with how "of the world" so many have become. I know I am flawed and not the best Christian in the world, but at least I don't go to church to pretend how Godly and morally superior I am, while simultaneously advocating decidedly un-Christian doctrine. The infiltration of Marxist ideology seems to be the final nail in the coffin. I suppose we can take solace in the knowledge that the Bible has warned this will happen. It's still sad to see it unfolding right in front of your eyes.
"I hate Trump, I can't see how anyone could ever possibly vote for an evil man that's so un-Christian" - guy from a former small group on his 4th marriage.
It's interesting how someone can be so blinded by hate, that he can't see his own hypocrisy, nor appreciate how Trump defended religious liberties. It's so irrational.
I totally understand that. I can't imagit what Catholics must think of the guy.
He reminds me of the movie Little Nicky when the demon brothers come to Earth as priests in New York and start telling everyone to just do whatever they want and give up their religion.
The bible predicts that churches will become corrupted in the end times, so it's not entirely surprising to me. It's most definitely sad though. It's scarily accurate about the state of current western society. "But understand this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, slanderers, without self-control, savage, opposed to what is good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, loving pleasure rather than loving God. They will maintain the outward appearance of religion but will have repudiated its power." 2 Timothy 3:1-5
Although that is more or less the pattern of how humans let everything become corrupted. But even in a non-spiritual sense, that prediction is just as worrying because it, at the very least, demonstrates that it has happened before and people won't learn from the past so it will continue to happen.
Agreed. People have short memories and normalcy bias. It doesn't help that we no longer actually teach history. "There is nothing new under the sun," is a Bible axiom for a reason. We may not be in the end times (there are things that indicate we are, and some that don't). Either way, we are in for a rough time IMO.

I 100% agree. Churches in America are pathetic. Real Christians stand for the whole truth, not this luke warm crap they spew out of the church now.

And the fucking pope right now... He's a blatant communist globalist mouthpiece. I'm not even religious and I can't believe how corrupted it's become.
As a Catholic, I can safely say he doesnt represent a single one of us. He does however represent fakes like Joe Biden very well.

Creepy. Its happening.

St. Paul said they should be actively purged. Jesus showed that they should be actively purged.
At the rate it's going, we're the ones being purged. :/
Cant purge us from Heaven.
Absolutely and amen!
