I'm not pagan. If you noticed, I said "religious", not "christian".

Yes you are. You are a slave to the material world. That makes you a pagan.

You're a slave to your imaginary friend who'll torture you forever if you reject him and don't worship and serve him forever and ever. Don't worry though, I think a car should be close enough to an iron chariot to keep me safe. He can't beat those.

I'm a slave to the good, the beautiful and the true. Things like the rainbow. That's God. It's not part of the material world. In the material world, the rainbow is merely light being fractured as it passes through raindrops. But it's real, it's beautiful and it's there nonetheless. You can ignore it all you want. It doesn't make God any less real.

Without God, you have no society alright? There's no morality outside of the good, the beautiful and the true. You need to be able to say that rape is wrong, because we can all recognize that it's wrong. It's an objective part of reality. But you can't do that if you don't acknowledge God. It's all "just your opinion". It's all subjective. Because in the material world, it doesn't matter. A rock doesn't care about rape.

I hope this clarified some things for you.

You're a slave to the egotistical, narcissistic god of slavery, incest, and total planetary genocide. Rainbows are entirely material. Ever played with a hose? Am I a god for being able to make rainbows as I please? What if I think rainbows are ugly?

There were advanced societies before christianity, and there were and still are advanced societies without christianity. There is no objective morality, but we can derive moral tenets through what continues the society, and the empathy we evolved as a social species. Rape is wrong because it causes harm to at the very least one other member of the society, and because we can empathize with the victim and understand it's not something we'd like done to us.

Yeah, I've heard that junk before, and I don't find it in the least convincing.
