Right now, if you could compare society to a flipped coin, it would have landed on its edge, it could fall either way.
Personally, I would prefer a larger house, farther out with some land around it, and having a good relationship with your neighbors for when times get tough.
Had a baby a year ago wife is due again in October. We own a smallish home in a good suburb.
