That's how you establish permanent left-wing rule: make sure the majority of people are dependent on the government.
When productive earners become a small minority the leeching majority will always vote to increase their gibs. The productive minority has no power to keep the government from taxing them more and more to finance the ever expanding gibs.
Until, as Margaret Thatcher noted, you run out of other people's money. This system is, to use a lefty retard word, unsustainable.
