There are always jobs if people truly want to get back to work. You ever been unemployed and had no cash left, only to know you have a couple big bills coming in a week? It's a terrible feeling. I respect anyone that works no matter what they do because they're willing to do what it takes.
I appreciate this sentiment. Lately though I've been wondering about the "works no matter what" aspect as reality has become more and more that companies are requiring employees to submit to COVID vaccine, or critical race theory or even masks.
Not everyone is able to be an entrepreneur or self-employed.
Some people don’t know how to work in teams, show up on time and be dependable ... they’re the fuck ups of society ... and we have put them on a shrine ... and giving them all sorts of privileges
Yeah it was hard on us for a while but when the market crashed we bought all the jr outfits up and then they did the citizens only bill and we are back up to 400 employees. All legal.
My kids will eat and have a roof no matter what it takes. Won’t ever work for big Corp tho, and they won’t ever do construction so it’s a win win (I know their is baker Corp etc. but we have our own niche market and world class finishers etc. and can kick their ass in quality and speed)
This is it

Construction workers are a dying breed
I owned a concrete place and finish company years ago. Made great $$$$ until the Mexicans showed up with illegal aliens for labor. Killed my business!

Journeyman carpenter.
Eh, I've gotten to the point that I'd rather starve than send money to the us govt while enriching big business.
