Ha! I like to eat and drink like a man so I need 45 minutes of cardio or I get doughy, so bought a $300 spin bike after the gym started a mask mandate. No way am I paying $2500 for a fucking bike. I signed up for the Peloton online courses for I think $10/mo. Lots of courses, decent instructors, but it wasn’t for me. You can get the same content on YouTube for free, or you can just do intervals with a timer.
Some people see those ads and they think that anything less than the expensive shiny won’t do. It’s amazing how hypnotizing the marketing is. Remember BowFlex? Remember NordicTrac?
