More people have negative effects or die from simply being infected with the virus, than the number of people who have had negative effects or died after taking the vaccine. For people over 60, it's a 1/100 chance of death, for people over 60 with the vaccine it's like 1/10000. Seems like a no brainer.

B) There is no need for an epi-pen. Look up the ingredients beforehand.

With the flu vaccine the risk is 1 in a million with the COVID-19 vaccine the risk is around 10 in a million. But most of the people who have had it already had a history of significant allergic reactions to something else in the past. It's also skewed because right now most people getting it are vulnerable populations with medical issues. When millions of kids and young adults who are healthy start getting it, that incidence is expected to go down. In summary, the allergic reaction can happen with literally every vaccine but it is still rare in COVID-19.
