This is why we shouldn't put trust in a man, either Elon Musk or Trump. We can agree on many things but one disagreement and suddenly we are offended? Suddenly we have to disregard everything that person says or does? Does this invalidate all the common ground we have with Elon Musk? The entire notion that we all must think alike is absurd. Who among us could ever be The Leader in such a situation?

I disagree with Musk on vaccines. I disagree with Trump on vaccines, remember he used the government to obtain the emergency use authorization last fall.

Society puts men like Musk and Trump on a pedestal when we should be putting ideas up on those pedestals instead. Ideas like freedom, personal responsibility, and putting you nation first. Men come and go but good ideas span many generations.
