Not one of them has a grandchild. They make sure their children have no children because that hampers full personal expression or something. That's a funny way of worrying about "continuity of Jewish identification."

Not one of them knows one thing about traditional Judaism. Not one respects anything about Judaism.

Well to me these are former Jews.

A bunch of crazy Germans is what they look like to me.

Heirs of the Hieronymus Bosch strain of European culture, its icky "gothic," kinky, strain. European culture isn't all pretty. The Marquis de Sade wasn't a Jew. Neither was Michel Foucault. Neither was Antonio Gramsci. Neither was Theodore Rousseau, the father of it all.

But damn them, just as you say.

Not one of these people gave a straw about the continuity of Jewish identification. In fact they were running away from that, personally, as a personality problem. A very personal problem. A cockamamie displacement of identity onto something that didn't scare them.

Ha ha on them. G-d is scary, sure, but you have to face that squarely and not run away, as they did.

Their utter absence of descendants is the final word on their stupidities.

Have a baby.
