As an atheist this is my new favorite Bible quote. I can definitely get behind commie hating Jesus.

14
GEOTUSMAGA 14 points ago +17 / -3

Aside from that "turn the other cheek" nonsense, Jesus was based AF.

17
LibertyPrimeWasRight 17 points ago +17 / -0

I''m no biblical scholar, I'm not even particularly religious, but based on what I've learned here about the definitions of "Neighbor" and how Christianity is not the uber-tolerant watered down leftist version that so many "churches" try to push these days, I'm guessing that in proper context, the quote is more about extending patience to those who are otherwise good community members/people on the flaws they have than it is about the "just let everyone walk all over you" line many people try to present it as.

11
WU_HAN_FRU 11 points ago +11 / -0

It's not about tolerating evil, and definitely not about rolling over while evil injures your family or your community.

6
GEOTUSMAGA 6 points ago +8 / -2

I don't think it's a real quote at all. I think Constantine's henchmen clergy wrote it.

4
Gnometard 4 points ago +4 / -0

That's the beauty of religion, just vague enough to find meaning.

When you let commies or lunatics interpret scripture, we have problems

KeeptheChief 9 points ago +9 / -0

"Turn the other cheek" doesn't mean don't defend yourself or your rights, it means to not retaliate for personal offenses.

5
GEOTUSMAGA 5 points ago +6 / -1

I too am a fan of Jesus the Badass. Baby Jesus is for women. Alpha Jesus and Table-flippin Jesus are where it's at.

The "turn the other cheek" nonsense always annoyed me. If someone puts their hands on you or tries to ruin your life or enslave you, you fuck them them up.

5
GEOTUSMAGA 5 points ago +5 / -0

Based. Don't cross that line.

10
DeadOverRed 10 points ago +10 / -0

"Turn the other cheek" is about not doing things for personal reasons. We don't kill commies just because they piss us off. We kill them out of self-defense.

8
GEOTUSMAGA 8 points ago +8 / -0

self-defense

Ahh, yes, but by merely existing, commies are in violation of the NAP, because the spread of their ideology will eventually limit your access to resources and therefore inhibit your survival.

It's a wrongthink paradox, I know.

13
sethrich 13 points ago +14 / -1

8
I_Used_to_be_me 8 points ago +9 / -1

Perfect, so they violated the non-aggression principle, explicitly stated their aims (years ago) to attack and harm all of an entire group of people, which then arms (so to speak) that very group to take up arms in self-defense. Doing so, while it may lead to killing, isn't murder, because self-defense to protect from being-murdered can't be considered murder, but simply an act aligned with one's God-given right to self-preservation and self-defense

5
Amaroq64 5 points ago +5 / -0

They love to twist our principles to do it too.

They consider attacking/killing "nazis" to be "self-defense" because "nazism is a violent ideology that can't be defeated by debating with it". (Lol.)

7
TD_Covfefe_Crusader 7 points ago +8 / -1

So you can see that this is not going to end well. Coexistence is not an option, and our society is already failing. I see it even in the small town I live in.

Stop giving money to bars with gaming licenses.

2

The problem is those extorting the bars, and the bars if they comply, this hasn’t been done yet.

6
YouNeedVPN 6 points ago +6 / -0

While true, the gaming commission has shown their colors, so therefore rewarding any business that pays the gaming commission is inherently bad. No need to wait for this to go into effect.

26
basedvirginian 26 points ago +29 / -3

18

They already did. The war is happening right now.

12
NazisWereSocialist 12 points ago +13 / -1

They want us to get violent first, that’s why they staged the “insurrection” at the capital.

They’re quickly approaching the point where force must be used to remain in power and they do not have any kind of plausible justification to sell to the sheep.

This authoritarian takeover is cracking and can crumble if we continue to keep up political pressure and educate those with the wool still pulled over their eyes.

But that being said, still, keep your powder dry

Wrong kind of gaming. This is for gambling...

23
Forgotmypass666 23 points ago +23 / -0

It just now dawned on me that I associate the word "gaming" with both video games and gambling and that people who aren't from Nevada might only associate it with video games. Weird.

5
Lord_Yeezus 5 points ago +5 / -0

Nah, in Illinois, “gaming bars” are on every street corner.

1
TD_Covfefe_Crusader 1 point ago +1 / -0

I grew up in Vegas so I'm familiar with the terminology. Here in Oregon many simply call the state lottery gambling machines "video". It took me a while to figure out what people meant when they said video in that context.

2
Forgotmypass666 2 points ago +2 / -0

I grew up in Vegas too.

Man Oregon from Nevada. That sounds like a downgrade.

1
TD_Covfefe_Crusader 1 point ago +1 / -0

Lots of stops in between. I actually moved to Oregon from California, so it was an upgrade.

I have friends and family living in Vegas and they tell me that it has been thoroughly Californicated now as well.

This was the problem with a lot of states putting their states Health Dept as point in the response instead of their states DEMA.

I'm pretty sure that was deliberate. There's a medical tyranny happening world wide.

7
GodKingHarambe 7 points ago +7 / -0

I think it was shortsightedness on behalf of some Governors not recognizing the obvious powerplay. This happened post-Impeachment and many of them were just ducking and running like cucks.

I know in my state, our business isn't regulated by the HD, but has to closely deal with them and our licensing board stated that with the HD running the response, they would be hearing any and all complaints against their licensees and would be taking action against any offenses deemed "grossly negligent".

5

Lots of mandates for this experimental gene therapy. The more they push, the less people will believe in it.

11
TD_Covfefe_Crusader 11 points ago +11 / -0

I wish that were true, but I've found that many of my friends who were opposed to getting the shot have now bent the knee and succumbed to family pressure. Once the mandates kick in I can see even more people complying. The urge to comply is too strong for more people than I ever imagined.

11
Groundpounder 11 points ago +11 / -0

Pathetic. People can’t expect to remain free if they can’t ever say “no” to unconstitutional mandates.

An injection so safe and necessary that you must be coerced to take it because fuck your rights and privacy over a virus with a 99+% survival rate. Looks like the gaming control board wants to act like tyrants after learning from google, twitter, and flakebook that they can just make whatever demands they want as long as the left approves.

"Licensed gaming is a matter reserved to the states within the meaning of the Tenth Amendment to the United States Constitution. “Within this context, we find no room for federally protected constitutional rights. This distinctively stated problem is to be governed, controlled and regulated by the state legislature and, to the extent the legislature decrees"

Talk about twisting the meaning of the 10th amendment around.

You’re only allowed to draw causation inference for the virus deaths. Vaccine deaths are all coincidences. Would like to see lawsuits get traction, but not holding my breath...

1
MajorMountain 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah, i know ... people who thought critically about it have not been doing it, and too many have been taking it without question.

I would advise EVERYONE if you're gonna do it, ask for a signed document stating that the experimental treatment is a "condition of employment". Then we'll see how many places go through with it.

Have never been to Las Vegas, and have no reason to go there. I don't drink because of diabetes. For years, I used to visit the local Indian-run casino once a month to meet friends for a buffet lunch, and then we'd play some slots for a few hours. I'd take $100 with me, and when it was gone, I'd leave. I haven't been there in over a year now. I won't go back until they drop their mandatory mask policy. In reality, I enjoyed the buffet dining much more than I did the games, but there will probably never be another buffet restaurant anywhere, ever again.

1
Consumerbot381732 1 point ago +1 / -0

I just ate at one tonight: Western Sizzlin. Almost couldn’t tell a scamdemic was going on, aside from staff with masks and wiping down ketchup bottles.

1
mass55th 1 point ago +1 / -0

Wow...haven't heard the name Western Sizzlin' in years. I live in the Mohawk Valley of New York State, and remember when we had a Ponderosa, and a Bonanza. My kids were young when they closed. They're in their 50's now, so that tells you how many years they've been gone. There used to be an Outback Steakhouse about a half-hour from me, but that closed down a couple years before the pandemic. The closest steakhouse to me is Texas Roadhouse, and again, it's a half-hour away. If I'm in that area for a doctor's appointment, and they're open, I usually get take-out.

This is the sort of illegal nonsense you get from the room-temperature IQ types who infest government. An employer cannot ask their employees for vaccination status information. It would violate HIPAA.

If anyone's employer asks them for vaccine information tell them to pound sand. Employers can make policy to only allow vaccinated employees to come to work, but they can't ask for vaccine records to prove it.

2
brother_red 2 points ago +2 / -0

HIPAA does not address this in any way.

Why do people keep repeating this misinformation?

HIPAA prohibits the release of your medical information by medical providers and other covered entities.

Anyone can ask you for your medical information.

ADA prohibits discrimination based on disability, but vaccine status is not a disability. So ADA doesn't really cover this either.
