Should be an automatic notice sent from the coroner's office to the voting registration office. Shouldn't take a lawsuit to get this fixed.
I don't understand the point of running voter rolls anyways, beyond being able to commit fraud.
What's wrong with each citizen having to register to vote within 6 months of each state/ federal election, prove citizenship, residency, etc, then you get a free voter ID that's only eligible for 6 months. After the election, all voter rolls 100% purged.
You should also have to pass a civics test over the Constitution
This☝ I've been saying this exactly!. To weed out low info/useful idiot NPC that are destroying our country by voting for a candidate because Lady Gaga said it was cool. -They should pass a test that concludes that they have at least some general understanding of how a government (democracy & republic) works from the local to the federal level. -Should also be able to name the 3 main branches of government (AOC would've failed) and how bills are legislated. -Also, would be useful for them to have an idea on how lobbying plays a huge roll in politics
