Owned by a guy born in China who lives in San Fran now. I work in Education and I was amazed at how it came out of nowhere to be the preferred video conferencing software. They claimed FERPA and HIPPA compliance but so did MS (TEAMS and SKYPE), Google (CHAT and HANGOUTS) and Apple (Facetime). But somehow, this little ass company went from 2 million users to over 300 million users in a year. I have always smelled something fishy about this...
