What's the significance in this? I know Sununu is a republican but I don't know much about him. Is he trustworthy? Does this mean this will actually be a trustworthy audit?
If I were to describe Sununu's D&D alignment, I'd probably say something like True Neutral or Chaotic Neutral. "Might save your life. Might steal your car." As GOP Rules Committee Chair in 2012, he flagrantly dodged/bent/violated party rules to discount Ron Paul's delegates and fled the building, to Mitt Romney's benefit. So no, he's not trustworthy. That said, I don't think he's trustworthy, from basically anyone's point of view. Under our current circumstances, I'll take the coin-flip odds.
Great way of putting it. Jamming up Ron Paul seems like a pro GOP establishment type of alignment. I won't count on him to do the right thing here but I guess some chance of it is better than nothing.
