Right an entire government agency is "deep state". Stop glamorizing these incompetent fucks. They are nothing more than worthless government pigs who are too worthless to get a job in private sector
The federal government has on the order of 2 million full-time employees which together form the administrative state.
The administrative state is like a horse which used to be ridden by a rider who told it where to go, when to go, and when to stop. The rider of the horse was elected by the people.
At some point – most likely decades ago; most likely in a chain of events associated with J. Edgar Hoover and his 48-year tenure as head of BOI and FBI and treating it like his personal blackmail operation – at SOME point, the horse realized it can control who gets to ride it, and can just tell the rider where to go, when to go, and when to stop.
Since then, the horse has been increasingly selecting its own riders, until Trump was elected in a freak event. The horse did everything possible to disobey the rider and throw him off. When the rider wouldn't fall off, the horse counterfeited elections to make sure the rider gets off, and stays off. Then it installed its own senile, compliant rider.
That's where we are. This is not glamorizing them. It's a real problem that we have this enormous, uncontrollable horse.
its time for term limits for bureaucrats, with very few exceptions you should only be able to work for the federal government for ten years and then you go back to the private sector or state government.
Deep State scum
