NY is ALREADY doing this by handing out $15,600 to every illegal immigrant in the state. The peak of clown mountain . . . it's somewhere up there, but we ain't there yet.
They are giving up to that amount but not to every single one. It is going to be 2 billion total for 900,000 of them. The 15.6k is for people who can prove they would be eligible for unemployment since last march so that means they were working paying taxes and proof of residency. The 3k or so which is supposed to equal the total of the stimulus checks is for people who can't prove they were elegible for unemployment. May still need other proof but obviously with 900k*3k that would be the whole 2 billion so I don't think I could assume a new identity just to get it. Probably it's the ones who already have NY licenses. Still a slap in the face to taxpayers though
